Peter Chapman is a commissioning editor on the FT project publishing desk and previously occupied a similar role for FT House & Home. He is a former correspondent for the BBC and The Guardian in Latin America.
His books include Bananas: How the United Fruit Company Shaped the World, The Last of the Imperious Rich: Lehman Brothers, 1844-2008 and Out of Time: 1966 and the End of Old-fashioned Britain. In his youth, he played in goal for Leyton Orient FC juniors and colts.
