Joe Biden, the former US vice president, has signed with Creative Artists Agency following his recent departure from the White House, choosing the leading Hollywood talent agency to guide the next phase of his career.
The agency, which also represents stars such as Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt and George Clooney, said it would “support and amplify” the work of the former vice president and his wife, Jill.
“Jill and I remain more dedicated than ever to addressing the critical issues of the day,” Mr Biden said, adding that in CAA the couple saw “a shared passion and shared values”.
The Bidens are involved in an anti-cancer initiative that began during Mr Biden’s second term, and have recently announced the creation of the Biden Foundation, as well as partnerships with the University of Delaware and the University of Pennsylvania.
In CAA the couple has chosen a heavyweight partner that represents stars from film, television, sport, theatre and books. The agency also has its own branding agency, investment bank and venture fund.
