Donald Pepper joins Old Mutual Global Investors

Old Mutual Global Investors has hired Donald Pepper as its managing director of alternatives. Mr Pepper joins from TT International where he was investment director for hedge funds.

Fidelity Worldwide Investment has appointed Peter Kaye as a US Equity portfolio manager. Mr Kaye joins from Dalton Strategic Partnership, where he currently manages two North American equity funds.

Thomas Mirow, president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development between 2008 and 2012 and previously deputy finance minister of Germany, will today join the senior advisory board of RiverRock European Capital Partners.

Lombard Odier has appointed Vincent Magnenat as its Singapore-based chief executive. Mr Magnenat joins from Société Générale, where he was most recently regional head of sales and marketing for Asia.

Pyramis Global Advisors has recruited Pam Holding as head of portfolio management. She was previously managing director for global value equities at Putnam Investments.

Pioneer Investments has recruited David Glazer as a portfolio manager. He was previously a co-portfolio manager with Franklin Templeton Global Advisers.

Pramerica Fixed Income has named Simon Males as a managing director for institutional client relations. Mr Males was formerly head of global consultants and UK institutional business for Pictet Asset Management.

UBS Global Asset Management has hired Roz Amos from Towers Watson as head of European consultant relations.

Baring Asset Management has appointed Nicola Hayes as head of client service and relationship development in London. Ms Hayes was latterly associate director, global sales and relationship management at Invesco Perpetual.
