To mark the 100th anniversary of Montblanc’s Meisterstück pen, the maison has created a pop-up on Los Angeles’ Rodeo Drive inspired by Wes Anderson’s aesthetic (the American filmmaker also directed and starred in its centennial ad campaign). The space, which also houses a café, showcases the prized writing instrument alongside watches, leather goods and accessories. Guests can sign up for writing and calligraphy workshops and cocktail classes.

French designer Dorothée Meilichzon has lent her creative eye to Acqua di Parma’s new St Tropez boutique. The vibrant, citrus-hued shop is ripe for displaying the Italian fragrance brand’s perfumes and jumbo scented candles, while an Acqua di Parma Pétanque set has been made exclusively for the shop. For personalisation, the counter offers engraving, embroidery and painting services by local artists. 


Chanel migrates to Mykonos

Following the success of last year’s inaugural pop-up in Greece, Chanel returns to Nammos village on the bustling island of Mykonos, with a two-storey boutique this summer. On the ground floor are new season handbags, shoes and the maison’s fragrance collection, Les Eaux De Chanel, inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite destinations. The first floor houses a selection of watches and fine jewellery – from the J12 and Première models to the Coco Crush collection – alongside a ready-to-wear salon and terrace for some mid-shopping rest and relaxation.

The luxury resale site founded by stylist Clare Richardson has arrived in west London with a specially curated edit to try on in-store. Current stock highlights include a coveted minidress from The Vampire’s Wife, an embroidered Dior saddlebag and a selection of beaded jewels from Emma Milne-Watson’s collaboration with Reluxe’s Relove programme.

Fancy a little wellness getaway? Dior has taken up residence at the newly refurbished Beverly Hills Hotel spa, offering everything from LED therapy sessions to deep-tissue massages and Californian Glow by Dior facials in rooms decorated with the Dior Toile de Jouy Soleil motif. Between treatments, you can shop beachwear from the hotel’s onsite boutique, unwind on one of the coral-pink loungers by the pool, or get on top of your sun protection with products from the brand’s own SPF line.

Lagos-based designer Rukky Ladoja is bringing her small-batch craft brand to Shoreditch. The Dye Lab pop-up will include a selection of artisanal goods, including traditional hand-dyed kaftans, kimonos, home objects, kidswear and its recent footwear collaboration with Kkerelé

Louis Vuitton returns to St Tropez alongside chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric for its annual beachfront pop-up at the White 1921 hotel. Dine out on the patio, which is this year inspired by the brand’s resort collection, furnished with hot pink and coral curling banquettes and LV-patterned cushions. Guests can also shop the brand’s palm-printed swimwear, towelling and raffia totes at the nearby boutique; a customised Mini Moke vehicle is available to shuttle customers between bases on request.

Mytheresa and LA-based lifestyle brand Flamingo Estate are joining forces once again on an experiential shopping destination for the East Hampton set. This year they have transformed the space – a former auto-body shop – into a lilac and yellow haven laced with racing motifs. Ready-to-wear from Toteme, Missoni and Dries Van Noten sits alongside apothecary and pantry staples from Flamingo Estate’s “inconvenience store” concept, which is dedicated to products that honour slow, time-honoured ways of making things. Cocktail evenings and “energy readings” will be scheduled throughout the summer.

Anya Hindmarch’s annual project – what the designer calls a “minimalist temple to the joy of ice cream and sorbet – returns to Chelsea for its third summer. The flavours on offer celebrate Hindmarch’s favourite food brands and include Kikkoman Soy Sauce and Branston Piccalilli, as well as sweeter options such as McVitie’s Penguin and Jaffa Cakes. For the adventurous, blind-tasting sessions are available to book at the Anya Café over the road.

Cult accessories brand Clare V’s store in the beloved summer hamlet of  Amagansett is open for the season. Highlights from the brand’s own offering include its new line of checker handbags and a selection of punchy graphic tees; there will also be a revolving pop-up of LA- and New York-based labels – including Jesse Kamm, who is revered for her sailor-style high-waisted trousers, Natalie Martin, known for batik-dyed dresses and quilted jackets, and Jamie Haller’s soft-as-butter sandals.

Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, who is originally from Provence, is returning to his roots with a pop-up of his Paris-based brand in St Tropez. Spread out over three sites, it includes a brasserie, serving a citrus-inspired menu designed by We Are Ona chef Ella Aflalo and Ana María Cadena; a boutique filled with floppy straw hats, stripy ’60s beach shorts and shirts emblazoned with a red parasol; pétanque sets and a beach club with loungers.
