I feel like sport is another type of school. Sport is the only place where no matter where you come from, no matter your religious beliefs, no matter how old you are, we all have the same goal. When I started playing basketball it was just for fun to be with my friends.
And then it became a passion. And when I started watching women's basketball, I was like, OK, maybe I can get there too. The first time I went back to my basketball club, when I saw these little girls, how they were looking up to me, I really felt like, OK, you need to be there for them. I got them.
Playing a team sport with a woman, I feel like it's more than just sports because every day we're fighting for our rights to get equal to the men, obviously. I feel like I knew that coming where I come from in France we don't expect people to share the greatness. So I always knew I had to do more. I always knew I had to prove more. So I started a podcast called Superhuman about athletes.
They tell their story. And they explain how they bounce back from the struggle. I think it can be really inspiring. I really feel like helping others was important. Giving back to my community was important. That's always what I wanted to do up until these days.
