    Ortenca Aliaj is the mergers and acquisitions correspondent for the Financial Times in New York, where she oversees the paper's coverage of deals and hedge funds. She also contributes to Due Diligence, the paper's premier deal's briefing, for which she was previously reporter and producer. She joined the FT in 2019 and studied law and international studies at the University of Surrey.
