Investors seem cheered by the news that Dido Harding is set to leave her post as chief executive of TalkTalk, with shares in the telecoms company opening more than 8 per cent higher despite a 5.4 per cent drop in third-quarter revenues.
The telecoms company said new pricing plans for customers “are proving transformative for our brand reputation and business”, which has helped to limit the scale of shrinkage in revenues.
