The 13th annual Silicon Valley Comes to Oxford is taking place at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School. The focus of this year’s forum is on the broad themes of technology and healthcare, which is being explored through masterclasses and networking opportunities.

The University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business is hosting its annual conference on the Business of Social and Environmental Innovation. This year’s theme is co-innovation to address wicked problems and looks to explore socio-ecological challenges and conflicting interests between stakeholders.

Randi Zuckerberg, social media and technology expert, is speaking about her new book Dot Complicated: Untangling our Wired Lives at the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management in Canada. The book addresses the complications of our socially transparent world today, including issues of privacy, social identity, authenticity and crowdsourcing.

Paul Polman, chief executive of Unilever, the food and detergent company, is sharing his experience at Iese Business School in Barcelona. For the next two days, students at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in the Netherlands are taking part in a series of challenges that will allow them to showcase their entrepreneurial potential and meet other aspiring entrepreneurs. Activities include a business game competition in which students manage their own company through real life scenario simulations.
